Zanzibar aka ZZ is a big inquisitive boy! He is a beautiful soft grey. We know he is a lavender and we are sure he has more to his genetics but he is a rescue and that is all the information we know for his morph. He is a proven breeder.
We keep all of our rescues well past their 90 day quarantine to determine health, behavior and work with them.
ZZ lived in a bin system prior to arriving here and seeing how happy he was to finally be in a large, enrichment filled enclosure was amazing. He absolutely LOVES to be exploring, especially in the arboreal portions. We often find him stretched out asleep in the vines, magnetic branches and arbroeal tree cave.
He is a sweet boy a great eater and is gaining weight steadily. It is time for him to find his new home and would be fine as a pet or breeder.
He does have a healed scar above his right eye (pictured). We are not sure how he injured himself in his previous home but we treated the wound and the scar does not impact him.
He is currently eating f/t large mice every 7 days with a f/t rat pup once a month rotation to help him gain weight.
